1. Tomato

Tomato has got certain properties that can lighten your skin color to a great extent .All you have to do is just take a spoon of tomato juice and mix it with one teaspoon of lemon juice .

Apply this mixture beneath your eyes on your dark circles and apply for about 10 minutes . Then rinse it off with water . Follow this remedy twice a day to reduce the dark circles .

2. Cucumber

Cucumber has got very good skin lightening properties. Use of cucumber is considered as very effective and quick treatment of dark circles .

Just take  a fresh cucumber and cut it into thick slices . Keep them in refrigerator for half an hour . Now put the slices of cucumber over the affected area for about ten minutes . Now wash the face with plain water . This will give a refreshing effect to your skin .

3. Lemon Juice

The bleaching property of Vitamin C present in the lemon juice is also very beneficial in removing the dark circles under the eyes . You can apply fresh juice with the help of cotton ball around your eyes for 10 minutes and then rinse it off . Repeat this process twice or thrice every week. Soon the skin tone around your eyes will become lighter and eventually the dark circles will go away .

4. Turmeric

Turmeric is known for its antioxidant as well as anti-inflammatory properties and hence is very effective for removal of dark circles . Just take the turmeric powder and mix it with pineapple juice to make a thick paste . Apply this paste to affected area for about 10 minutes . Then wipe it with a soft damp cloth . This will also make your skin more smoother and softer.

5. Mint Leaves

Cooling effect of mint leaves removes the dark circles in a very natural manner . Just take few fresh mint leaves and crush them gently . Now apply the crushed mint leaves around your eyes for and leave it for about five to ten minutes. Then gently wipe it off with cold cloth .

Not only this way , you can also add mint leaves to tomato juice and then apply this paste on the dark circles for few minutes . Now rinse the area properly with cold water .

6. Raw Potato

Some bleaching agents are present in potato that help lighten dark circles . Not only dis , they help you get rid of puffiness around the eyes too .

Take two chilled potatoes an grate them to extract its juice . Now soak a cotton ball into it and place it on  to your closed eyes . Make sure that the juice covers the dark circles under your eyes as well as the eyelids . Apply it for ten to fifteen minutes and then rinse your eyelids properly with cool water .
